Dogs

I've been working full-time in the dog training industry for close to 2 years, focusing on how dogs truly communicate—challenging outdated methods that no longer serve them. I specialize in helping dogs with big emotions find healthier behaviors while guiding their owners through the process. My services are built around accessibility and comfort, understanding that a dog in public, being greeted by a stranger, or having a camera pointed at them can all be intimidating. My hands-on experience beyond photography ensures that your dog feels at ease. I offer longer sessions and am always happy to answer any questions. My passion lies with reactive dogs and their owners, who deserve to experience the joy and freedoms that come with a well-balanced life, despite any challenges they may face.

Gigi spent the first 6 months on the street and a total of 3 years in the shelter. Her reactivity Journey altered the careers of My girlfriend and I. 3 years In and Gigi is a working demo dog for other dogs just starting their own journey through socialization.

I’ve had the privilege of training and handling a diverse range of dogs, from different breeds and backgrounds to various sizes and temperaments. Whether you view your dog’s obedience as advanced, intermediate, or needing work, I’ve helped dogs at every level—from starting from scratch to refining behaviors in working-bred dogs. The reward of communicating with dogs and finding fun, healthy outlets for them is truly fulfilling. My approach is driven by a deep dissatisfaction with the industry's lack of standards and focus on profit over the well-being of the dogs. The JRG experience prioritizes the emotional health of your dog, ensuring their needs come first.
